The School of Engineering is pleased to announce that the 2013 awardees for the William Morgan Scholarship are Year 2 MEng students, Alex Wilcox and Nada Aly.  Each student will receive £2500 to develop their personal and professional skills. Alex will undertake community work in Peru and Costa Rica, and Nada will attend language training in France.

The Scholarship is kindly provided by a previous graduate of the School, Steve Kelbrick, in memory of his grandfather.

Previous awardees have been Alex Darvill (2009), Jonathan Schofield and James Morgan (2010), Joanna Shams and Sam Dauncey (2011), and Michael Kelly (2012).

Dr Bob Mines, Director of Learning and Teaching said… ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for our MEng students to do something that really enhances their life experience.  The only limit to their plans is their imagination and ambition. We are very grateful to Steve for his contribution to the experience of our students’.
