Welcome to the University of Liverpool Judo club

We are a student-led, all-ability club sporting a diverse range of members. We are welcome to all; regardless of whether you’re a seasoned veteran with years of experience, or complete beginner to martial arts, you will find something for you here at the University of Liverpool Judo club. 

Competitive

Competitions are also held throughout the year in various locations and for all ages and levels. There are university competitions such as British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) as well as many local area competitions for all skill levels, including those new to the sport.

We run our 2-hour sessions twice a week, in the gym at Greenbank halls

The Athletic Union

The Athletic Union (AU) is a student lead union founded in 1884. The AU consists of competitive sports clubs representing the University in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS). The AU also provides opportunities for social sports with over 132 teams across three sports.

Being an AU member is a great way to stay active, develop management and leadership skills and meet people.

  • Priority access to AU social events

The initial cost of the AU membership is £60 and this will allow you to join one club. If you wish to join multiple clubs, the cost for each club is £24 thereafter
