David
Personal Trainer
I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, working for large companies such as Village Hotels & Leisure, Greens H&F, The Gym Group, Liverpool City Council, David Lloyd Leisure, Club Getaway (USA) and smaller independent facilities.
I have now been here at the University for over 11 years and in the gym since the 2012 opening of the refitted fitness facilities.
In 2002 I set up my own Personal Training & Strength & Conditioning business. Clients have included a broad section of the population including business people, housewives, models, actresses and professional athletes.
All with the same goal to improve themselves in some way. This may take the form of fat loss, body composition improvement, strength and/or muscle gain or performance. I have the experience, the knowledge and the passion to enable my clients to hit these goals time and time again.
In 2014 I started strength and conditioning responsibilities for a number of elite athletes from the Sports Scholarship scheme here at the University. In 2016 I took over this role fulltime and gained responsibility for the strength and conditioning programming and delivery for all the elite athletes on the scheme and performance teams.
Now I am back to the gym and ready to help people achieve their goals.
