Farkhondeh Vahdati is a full-time PhD student in Architecture at the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Her research area is Design for Disassembly (DfD) of Shekili-inspired emergency shelters using Holographic construction and Augmented Reality (AR).
She worked for the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat as a researcher on the Green Construction Framework and Guidelines. Her research interests lie in Augmented reality (AR), Holographic construction, Design for disassembly, and environmental and sustainable design.

Beyond research, Farkhondeh has actively contributed to the postgraduate community, mentoring students, serving as a student representative, and supporting teaching and knowledge-sharing activities, and has received multiple awards at both university and external levels.
