Teaching Hub 502 is a new venue, with a relaxed and contemporary feel. CAMCON26 will be hosted on the first floor, which features large lecture theatres, collaborative and flexible working areas, and social breakout space. The venue is fully accessible, and the conference area can be configured to meet delegate needs, with space available for quiet rooms, multi-faith prayer rooms, and breast-milk expression rooms.
Teaching Hub 502 is located close to University Square, across the road from Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. It is accessed via the entrance from Mount Pleasant (campus map reference 502, D6).
Venue for conference social event
There will be an optional social event held on Wednesday 1 July in the Victoria Gallery and Museum (VG&M, campus map reference 421, D8). The VG&M is an iconic red brick building on the campus, offering an insight into the cultural and historical heritage of the University and housing the Tate Museum.

By air
Liverpool can be easily reached via two international airports, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport serves 27 destinations in 17 European countries and North Africa, and connects to the USA via Iceland or Ireland. It is eight miles from the city centre, which can be reached by taxi or bus directly outside the airport. Buses 500 (limited-stop service, approximately every 30 mins), 86, 80A and 82A go to Liverpool city centre.
Manchester Airport has direct flights from 200 destinations in 56 countries. It is 35 miles from Liverpool, with a direct train service running hourly between Manchester Airport and Liverpool Lime Street station.
By train
The main train station is Liverpool Lime Street, which serves both national and regional routes. The Avanti West Coast line journey time is 2 hours 15 minutes to/from London Euston, with rapid connection to the Eurostar via St Pancras International.
To get to the University of Liverpool from Liverpool Lime Street, it is a 15 minute walk or around seven minutes in a taxi. A taxi rank (black cabs) is located on the Skelhorne Street side of the station, which are first-come first-served and do not require booking. Alternatively, Uber services operate in the area.
By coach
National Express coaches operate services into the bus station in Liverpool city centre from several cities. It is a 25 minute walk to the University of Liverpool or 12 minutes by taxi.
