As soon as you join the University of Liverpool, you automatically become a member of the Guild of Students and from your first day as a student and throughout your university years, the Guild will make sure you enjoy your time at Liverpool.

Below are just a few of the services offered by the Guild, you can find out more by visiting the Guild website.

The Guild offers free, confidential and independent advice on academic, financial and housing issues to all University of Liverpool students.

Change it

If you have an idea to improve your university experience, you can submit it to the Guilds 'Change It' site and they can help bring it to life.

From Geography to Gaming. Poker to Politics. Sociology to Salsa. The Guild allows students the space and resource to come together with people who share the same interests. There are over 200 societies for you to get involved in. And if they don’t have what you’re looking for – start a new society!

Course representatives

Course reps work with staff and fellow students to identify and discuss issues which affect their academic experience. Whilst changing their course for the better, being a course rep is a great way to boost your CV and meet new people.

Eat and Drink

Grab an early morning caffeine fix, pick up your lunch, watch a live music gig, pop in for a post-lecture drink or come along with friends to play pool or watch live sport. The Guilds social spaces have a little something for everyone.

Green Guild

The Guild Green team provide students with opportunities to think green and become more sustainable. They run lots of student-led volunteering and social enterprise projects throughout the year where you can learn loads of new skills.

Give it a go

Coming to university is all about new experiences, friends and learning new skills. The Guilds 'Give it a Go' programme is jam-packed with trips, sessions and activities to enrich your time at university.

To the superb sounds of live music in the bar and night club areas. Among your suite of party spaces is the Mountford Hall – the second biggest concert arena in Liverpool which has already been a stage for The Killers, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Smiths, Jamie T and Example.

The Guilds volunteering platform offers fun and rewarding opportunities which develop your skills whilst boosting your CV, furthering your career prospects once your studies are finished.
