English at Liverpool includes two types of research units: research clusters and research centres.

Research clusters are theme-based and provide a platform for discussion of individual work and the development of research synergies among staff members.

Our interdisciplinary research centres bring together members from across the University. They also host events, seminars and training sessions for staff, PGR students and knowledge exchange partners, stimulating methodological diversity and outward-facing exchange.
