The School of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science are inviting people to participate in its photography competition, ‘My Lockdown'.

‘As lockdown and restrictions start to ease, we now look forward to the new normal, but also look back at a year which was unique to us all. What is apparent is that many people had wildly differing experiences of lockdown and restrictions, and this is what we hope to capture. Whether this year has been hard for you, or there have been some glimmers of hope, we would like staff and students to send in a photo that describes their experiences over this past year. In sharing photos we might see that people have had shared experiences. Your photo can also be supported by a short explanation, but this is optional. Have a look through the photos on your phone, or take advantage of the slowly opening society over Easter and take that snap.'

The competition is also to commemorate the University Wellbeing Week (more details will be shared soon).
