Accommodation for XJTLU Students - 2+2 & Taicang Campus
With approximately 4,400 student rooms in our popular student village and on-campus residences, we believe that staying with us gives XJTLU students the perfect base for studying and enjoying everything Liverpool has to offer.
Our residences provide more than a place to sleep. They are lively, friendly communities with great facilities ranging from café’s to libraries. Why not take a look around using our virtual open day.
By living in University accommodation, you can also take advantage of discounted membership to the campus Sports and Fitness Centre, and up to 75% off trips organised through the “give it a go” programme at the Liverpool Guild of Students.
Specifically trained Residential Advisers live in our accommodation, and are are able to deal with any concerns and will be the first point of contact for any incidents or emergencies. They are also there to assist and advise on matters such as feeling home sick or study/revision advice.
As all of our accommodation is supported in partnership with Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University, we want our students to succeed – and we understand that having a comfortable place to live is a big part of that.
How to apply
Applying before receiving your University of Liverpool Student ID number
If you are planning to progress to the University of Liverpool through the 2+2 route or from the Taicang campus, then you can now apply for accommodation through our survey link. You do not need to wait for your offer to study - you can apply straight away. XJTLU students are guaranteed accommodation, as long as they have accepted a conditional place at the University of Liverpool and have applied for their accommodation no later than 31st July.
Closer to move in we will send another survey where you can enter your friendship groups. We will try our best to facilitate this, however, this can't always be guaranteed. If we can't house you all together, we will house you with at least 2 of your friends.
