Returning undergraduate students
Returning Undergraduate Accommodation options Whilst we do not guarantee an accommodation offer for returning undergraduates - we have some great returning undergraduate accommodation options on campus, with room types ranging from single ensuite rooms to self-contained studios. There are ensuite with shared kitchen and studio options available for you to chose from, with a range of prices to suit every budget.
How to apply
Wherever possible we will house you with all returning undergraduate students. Due to this being a smaller cohort we are usually able to honour requests to live with friends in shared flats also. We send a survey out in the summer before you move in to ask if there are others you would prefer to live with. You can view all of the accommodation options for returning undergraduates here.
You can apply for accommodation once the accommodation portal opens in January. The sooner you apply the more likely you are to get one of your preferences of hall. Due to you already being an expected entrant at the University we are usually able to send you an accommodation offer within a few weeks of you making an application.
We understand that plans can change, so we thought it was right to be as flexible as possible when it comes to booking your accommodation. Booking with us is straight forward, and you do not need to pay a deposit or find a guarantor.
Become a Residential Adviser
Residential Advisers are returning undergraduate, postgraduate or mature students who live in our halls and provide overnight pastoral support for the residents, and in return receive free accommodation. You can find out more information and how to apply here.
