We are delighted to share the news that Ness is hosting the Rhododendron Camellia & Magnolia Group show once again after its Covid hiatus on Saturday 13 and 14 May. The annual show, organised by the North West and Wales Branch of the group is free to visit and opens at 11.30am on Saturday.

The show is organised as a competition - the Centenary Cup 2023. Gardens and growers across the North West and North Wales enter their best flowers for judging by an expert panel from the Rhododendron Camellia & Magnolia Group before the show opens to visitors. It is a real treat for anyone to see so many types of Rhododendrons, Camellias & Magnolias all in one place!

Exhibitors and members of the Rhododendron Camellia & Magnolia Group will be available on both days to answer questions about the plants and how you grow them at home.

Your visit to the show will be perfectly complimented by a walk in the gardens to enjoy some of the many Rhododendrons, Camellias and Magnolias we grow in the gardens. Many have  timed their flowering perfectly this year for the show and can be many found around the herbacous border area and in the Pinewoods. Just ask at admissions for directions on your way in.

The Rhododendron, Camellia & Magnolia Group welcome members of all levels of expertise and regularily hold talks, organise visits and other events all focussed around Rhododendrons, Camellias & Magnolias. More information about the plants and the group can be found here (opens an external link).
