Celebrating Nature Day

Celebrate nature with us on Wednesday 19 August 2026 with lots of activities for the whole family.

Our popular Celebrating Nature Day is back for 2026! 

Join us on Wednesday 19 August when, just like last year, we'll have lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy. These will include:

  • Bird ringing demonstrations
  • Wildlife identification
  • Interactive activities with local wildlife organisations
  • Poison Plant activities 
  • Herbarium craft activity 

The event will be running from 10.00-3.00pm. Garden admission applies, there is no need to book, just turn up! 

The fabulous Will Cousins will also be at Ness that day with his Punch and Judy and Magic shows!
