The opening on 1 August 2018 coincided with the following day’s ceremonies marking International Roma Genocide Remembrance Day. At the opening event, co-curator Jana Müller led a conversation with Raffaela Laubinger, daughter of an Auschwitz survivor and Roma rights activist.
