Waves and Continuum Mechanics
The Waves and Continuum Mechanics group carries out research in a diverse range of areas in Applied Mathematics including asymptotic analysis of partial differential equations, wave propagation and scattering in inhomogeneous media, cloaking, ultrasonic non-destructive evaluation, metamaterials, homogenisation, dynamic fracture, phononics, and platonics.
