University of Liverpool’s School of Law and Social Justice (SLSJ) continues to strengthen its international partnerships and expand its global outlook. On Wednesday 21 May 2025, SLSJ signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Office of the Judiciary of Thailand.
Bespoke legal training solutions
Thai judges have previously attended the School’s Human Rights Summer School over the past two years, forming a relationship of shared values with Liverpool, and this MoU now paves the way for further collaboration. In particular, both parties were keen to agree to work on bespoke legal training solutions for the Thai judges, to create opportunities for study visits, and to arrange co-hosting of academic events.
