We are delighted to announce that University of Liverpool Law graduate Alice Simm has been awarded a Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarship.

Alice has been granted the Indiana University Maurer School of Law Award, which allows her to study for a Master of Laws (LLM) at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, located in Indiana, United States.

During her time at Indiana University, Alice will study the LLM Learning and Working (LAW) Program, which gives hands-on experience of the US legal system alongside the study of the Law. The program offers experiential opportunities to develop students' understanding of legal practice, such as job shadowing and informational interviews with local attorneys and judges. Alice intends to specialize in International and Human Rights Law as she aims to go into this field when she graduates.

Alice said: “This scholarship will enable me to further my education, whilst experiencing a variety of different cultures and people. Additionally, as I hope to go into International Law, studying in a different country and learning a new legal system will benefit me massively, and help me gain experience that is different to the UK.”
