COVID-19

We are always delighted to hear from schools and colleges who are interested in working with our Department of Irish Studies. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we unfortunately cannot visit schools or offer on-campus sessions at this moment in time. However please check out the online resources that we have created for classes interested in Irish Studies. Resources such as ‘Towards a functioning Assembly’ are aimed at sixth form and college students interested in Irish Studies at undergraduate degree level. Whereas ‘The Viking Age in the North West’ is a mobile history app suitable for a variety of class ages. We hope that you find these resources useful tasters to aspects of Irish Studies and we look forward to providing face to face sessions again soon.
