ULMS 543 - International Political Economy and Business
This module gives students a comprehensive understanding of recent trends in the global economy, the historical, economic, social, technological, and cultural drivers of globalisation, and the role of institutions in global governance, such as the WTO, IMF, and World Bank. It also examines the impact of the Global Financial Crisis and the most recent issues such as the public health crisis and climate change. The module relates theories and concepts to relevant evidence, examples, and case studies.
