About

Chris is a lecturer in Occupational Therapy which is situated within the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing at the University of Liverpool, having commenced this role in 2018. His clinical background is rooted within inpatient mental health rehabilitation, as well as low, medium and high secure forensic psychiatry. Chris has also held leadership roles in the private sector and NHS. He currently serves as Director of Studies for the BSc (hons) Occupational Therapy programme. He has a keen interest in curriculum development and sits on the School module review board. Chris is also a Schwartz Round facilitator and leads the University Schwartz steering group. He has an interest in private practice. He currently serves as the Learning and Development Lead for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Mental Health Network. Chris is currently studying for a Professional Doctorate in Health (DProfHealth).
