Between 2 Ovaries
Between 2 Ovaries is a fortnightly women’s health podcast, co-founded and hosted by a passionate team of experts from the University of Liverpool and Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
With a mission to bust myths and tackle misinformation about women’s health, Between 2 Ovaries covers topics such as endometriosis, PCOS, the Mirena coil, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and much more. The hosts approach each subject with openness, honesty, and a touch of humour - creating a welcoming space for anyone eager to learn more about their body, navigate complex health issues, or feel more connected and empowered.
The podcast hosts are:
- Eleanor Bristow (PhD student with a background in psychology, researching chronic pelvic pain)
- Lorna Salvini (PhD student and scientist studying fibroids)
- Dr Nicola Tempest (Senior Lecturer and Consultant Gynaecologist)
- Dr Alison Maclean (Academic Clinical Lecturer and Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology).
Together, they bring a wealth of clinical and research experience, ensuring every episode is grounded in evidence and real-world insight.
