The School of Medicine is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Rowan Pritchard-Jones as Associate Dean of Professional Practice.
Professor Pritchard-Jones is an experienced Consultant Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon with a specialist interest in skin cancer and healthcare innovation. His career spans clinical practice and senior NHS leadership roles, most recently as Executive Medical Director at NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board. Alongside this, he maintains an active academic profile in skin oncology, clinical trials and population health, and brings extensive experience in professional practice and medical training.
In his role, Professor Pritchard-Jones will work closely with senior colleagues to promote high standards of professional practice, strengthen NHS partnerships, support research-active clinical education, and help scope future opportunities within the undergraduate medical curriculum.
