Kieron McCallan is a 2nd Year PhD student in the Distributed Algorithms Centre for Doctoral Training. He gives his advice on prepping for that much anticipated PhD interview!
Kieron is a second year PhD student at the Distributed Algorithms CDT, part of the University of Liverpool. In this article he reflects on his own journey prior to joining the CDT, and gives his advice to others searching for the right PhD project.
Kieron chose to join the CDT because he came from a Physics background and knew how helpful it would be to be surrounded by people from lots of different backgrounds, where everyone is able to pitch in and help. His project partner is NSG Group and his research is focused on 'Using Next Generation Machine Learning and AI techniques to Aggregate Information Pertinent to Automotive Glazing’.
