Tate Liverpool reimagined – opportunities for staff and students

Tate Liverpool + RIBA North

You can now find Tate Liverpool at RIBA North, Mann Island, while their Royal Albert Dock home is temporarily closed for redevelopment.

The new space is smaller than the building on the Dock. Visitors can enjoy two small galleries and a family area. They have family activities alongside talks, tours and creative workshops. All events and activities are inspired by the unique collections held by Tate and RIBA.

University of Liverpool staff and students will still be able to enjoy the same benefits as the gallery shop and café have also relocated to RIBA North, providing a complete visitor experience*.

University of Liverpool partnership with Tate Liverpool – next steps

As in previous years, to showcase our commitment to creating an environment where people can challenge preconceived ideas about culture, art and academia, we’re working with Tate Liverpool and RIBA to explore opportunities for staff and students to participate creatively and interactively on the public programme through unique events, talks and tours. Further details will be released over the coming months.
