Greenbank Student Village
From: £176.05 per week
Suitable for: First year undergraduate students
With its historic parkland grounds, listed mansion house and on-site gym, Greenbank Student Village is a great place to start your University life, especially if you are leaving home for the first time.
Student life at Greenbank centres on the residents' gym, outdoor sport facilities and communal spaces. There's lots of events, clubs and societies, which are a great way to meet fellow students and settle into halls life.
Another major benefit is the location. The surrounding area is where most students typically opt for a shared house from second year onwards. Living at Greenbank, you’ll get to know the area well - where the shops are, where to socialise and where the best streets are for that second year house.
Nearby Lark Lane, Rose Lane, Allerton Road and Smithdown Road are some of Liverpool's liveliest and quirkiest streets, offering a great selection of bars, cafés and shops.
Beautiful Sefton Park is right on Greenbank's doorstep, and the University's main sports grounds at Wyncote are nearby.
All accommodation at Greenbank is offered in private study bedrooms, available on a self-catered basis. All bills are included in your rent, so you can budget more easily.
Greenbank Student Village is about three miles from the main University campus. A dedicated bus service runs door to door every 10-20 minutes or so, until the early hours of the morning.
Student welfare within our accommodation is the responsibility of hall wardens, assisted by senior residential advisers and the wider residential adviser team.
Wardens are senior members of staff who live in the halls of residence, ensuring students get the support and assistance they need throughout their time in University accommodation. At Greenbank Student Village there are two wardens who oversee all aspects of pastoral care.
The team are there to help you with any personal problems and aim to assist students by being pastoral leaders. You will usually meet with your warden at welcome events during the first few days of term: it is important that you attend these, as there will be information specific to your hall of residence.
Our residential adviser team provides an on-call emergency service Monday to Friday, 8pm to 7.30am and Saturday to Sunday, 6pm to 9am.
