About

I am a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in public health. In my early research career and past employment, I investigated chronic pain conditions, specifically focused on the translation of basic science to clinical applications.

My current role as Research Fellow at Liverpool Reviews and Implementation Group (LRiG) has enabled me to pursue my passion for science policy and evidence-based decision making. At LRiG, the main component of mine and my colleagues’ work is fulfilling the NIHR Technology Assessment Reviews (TAR) contract. I manage and lead the production of the External Assessment Group (EAG) reports (EAR) that LRiG complete as part of the NIHR Health Technology Appraisal (HTA) programme. As a clinical reviewer, I assess whether the clinical evidence submitted by company addresses the decision

I continue my involvement in chronic pain research using evidence synthesis methods.
