Unilever Brain and Behaviour Collaboration

The Unilever Brain and Behaviour collaboration is a partnership between our valued industrial partner Unilever and behavioural neuroscientists in the Psychology Department that has existed since 2010.

The collaboration generates cutting edge neuroscience research that is of commercial interest. The collaboration has generated over £2million in research income and includes 16 publicly funded projects to date (publicly funded partnerships include iCASE PhD studentships with BBSRC, ESRC, EPSRC, and a Knowledge Transfer Partnership from Innovate UK).

Currently within the department this collaboration supports the work of four post-docs and three PhD students investigating a range of sensory neuroscience projects and projects on microbiomes and wellbeing.
