Recently, we were delighted to catch up with former student, doctoral candidate, academic colleague, Head of Department, and now retiree, Professor Richard Gillespie.

Our current Head of Department, Prof Sam Ashenden sat down with Richard to discuss his experiences at Liverpool, his teaching, and research. Prof Gillespie is also the founder of the Europe and the World Centre, still thriving in the Department of Politics with Prof Erika Harris.
