Joshua Forrester graduated in 2021, and now works in the charity sector running Parliamentary Engagement for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 with a BA Hons in Politics. My transformative experience included a pivotal Rhetoric and Speech module that honed my debating skills—crucial in both my university debating career, including at the European championships, and in my advocacy work when engaging with parliamentarians and decision making. Another standout was my six-month Parliamentary Placement in the office of Chris Green MP understanding front line politics and gaining insights into the Westminster landscape. This placement marked the genesis of my political journey, providing hands-on insights into political operations.

Post-graduation, I've started a career in Public Affairs, currently in the charity sector running Parliamentary Engagement for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide. My role involves crafting and leading the Parliamentary Engagement Programme, engaging with key political figures, and shaping policy. I've successfully orchestrated opportunities in Parliament for critical causes and engaged with Secretaries of States and sector leaders.

Beyond my professional roles, I've continued my commitment to campaigning. I work on internal politics for the conservative party, running the GLA campaign in 2 London boroughs, advocating for internal pressure groups and I also have become the Director of the Candidates’ Fund for Conservatives in Communication.
