Why did you choose to study at the University of Liverpool?
First of all, I was an undergraduate at the University of Liverpool. I finished my Music BA degree, and I wanted to continue my studies here. Also, I am passionate about music performance, and the opportunity to perform at the Tung Auditorium is one of the main reasons for me to pursue music performance at the University of Liverpool.
What’s the best thing about studying your programme?
The best thing about the programme is that I had the opportunity to work with professional musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. I have learnt a lot from these experiences. Additionally, the opportunity to perform at the Tung Auditorium with the magnificent Steinway & Sons concert grand is a treasured experience.
How do the facilities and/or staff help you with your studies?
The acoustics at the Tung Auditorium are fantastic, and professors and tutors are very helpful.
What has been your highlight of your time at Liverpool so far?
The people are so friendly and nice. I had so much fun in Liverpool.
How do you believe undertaking postgraduate study will help your career prospects?
I believe it will significantly benefit my career as it encompasses the music education sector. This expands my opportunities as a musician in both performing and teaching.
What advice would you give to anybody considering postgraduate study at Liverpool?
Liverpool is a diverse city; you will get along well with people here. Liverpool is relatively affordable for daily expenses compared to London or even Manchester. Great for students with a budget.
