SOTA trips

Germany Berlin tour (accompanied by SOTA staff). Deadline 2 February 2026, 5pm.

Departmental trips

Please note places are competitive and limited. You must be registered on an undergraduate Music programme to be eligible.

Mapping Europe's (Live) Music Ecosystems in Cremona, Italy. Deadline 20 February 2026.

Support in 2025-26 is expected also for trips relating to game design (Nordic Game NG26, Malmö), music technology (MTCBergen) and conducting (ACA, Porto). Details are currently in preparation and will be announced shortly.

Please note that for the ‘departmental’ trips, you will not be accompanied by a member of University of Liverpool staff.

Students interested in applying for the trips to Germany or Cremona should apply via the forms that are accessible on the relevant links above.

The funding support form for students interested in the ‘departmental’ trips to Norway, Sweden/Denmark, or Portugal will be supplied here shortly.

Please note that each departmental opportunity has different conditions, and you should read the guidance/information in the relevant links carefully before completing the form. Some deadlines are earlier than others due to agreements in place with content providers. For all trips you are advised to apply as early as possible in order to have the greatest chance of success.
