The University of Liverpool SIAM-IMA Student Chapter's Inaugural Early Career Researcher Conference 

 

We invite you to the inaugural Early Career Researcher conference at the University of Liverpool to be held in the period 3rd – 5th April 2019. The conference will take place in the Elizabeth Gidney Room, Reilly Building, University of Liverpool.

The aim of this conference is to bring together a community of people interested in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence and their applications to health and life science.

We also aim to showcase the engagement opportunities and career prospects in data science. To reflect this we have invited a wide range of speakers from both academia and industry.

Dr Edward Pyzer-Knapp (Research Lead for Machine Learning and AI, IBM)

Dr. Maria Angela Ferrario (Lecturer in Digital Technology and Environmental Change, University of Lancaster)

We will also have sessions with contributed talks and posters.

The deadline for talk/poster submission is 28th February 2019, and the deadline for registration is 20th March.
