Studying Chinese

Learning Chinese through Open Languages gives you the chance to become proficient in reading, writing, speaking and listening to the language. You will also develop your knowledge of Chinese history, society, political economy and culture.

You have no knowledge of the language at all.

Choose this module if

You have completed Chinese Stage 1 or a 50 hours approximate length course equivalent to HSK Level 1.

You have studied the language formally for one course only - approximately 60 hours, or up to GCSE.
