Dialogue 1: The Greek Border Experience: Time, Space and Narrative
Gemma Bird & Christina Balaska
27 November, 15.30 - 17.00
Rendall Building, Seminar Room 6
As we mark 10 years since the so-called ’summer of migration’, Greece’s role in European bordering remains both central and contested. This conversation will focus on the people who have journeyed through the Greek European border space, and the stories and experiences they carry with them. We will engage with questions of solidarity, family, language, border violence and activism as we look to situate the Greek border experience in time and space.
