Dr Roberto Mozzachiodi joins department as Research Assistant for KantianDESERT

We are delighted to welcome Dr Mozzachiodi as a Research Assistant on the research project: Kantian Justice: a Desert-Sensitive Responsibility-Enhancing Theory.

Roberto has previously taught philosophy, critical theory, cultural studies and political economy at Goldsmiths College, Oxford Brookes and Kingston University. His published work has focused on the motif of the 'End of Philosophy' in the work of Marx especially as reworked in the context of postwar French Marxist philosophy. He has also published on the history and politics of philosophical education.

Roberto is on the editorial board of Historical Materialism: Research in Critical Marxist Theory, Historical Materialism: Workers and Capital and Notes from Below. He is currently completing his first monograph 'The End of Philosophy in Marx: Variations in Henri Lefebvre, Louis Althusser and Jacques Derrida. He is also translating and editing a volume of essays by the Marxist anthropologist Pierre-Philippe Rey.

Roberto is committed to supporting worker research and writing, and has been involved in co-research projects with workers in care, education, health, logistics, hospitality, agriculture, culture among others.
