I am an applied social science early career researcher in global mental health, underpinned by a specialism in empirical ethics.
My research interests are in the normative dimensions to healthcare delivery; as well as what it means to conduct research ethically. My research focusses on the applied research/practice interface, developing and testing mental health interventions or instruments, and empirically examining the practice of healthcare and research. I have a longstanding interest in meeting the psychosocial and mental health needs of those affected by humanitarian emergencies, leading to research conducted in high, middle, and low-income countries, primarily with refugees, asylum seekers, and those displaced by conflict or disaster.
