The Future of Public Service - Master’s in Public Administration and Policy Launch Event
Amidst a fast-changing landscape, it is vital that the next generation of public servants are equipped with the skills to effectively navigate the challenges, opportunities, and nuances of policymaking in the twenty-first century.
To celebrate the launch of the University of Liverpool’s new master’s in Public Administration and Policy (MPAP) programme, join us on Wednesday 8 October for a public panel discussion on ‘The Future of Public Service’, with contributions from academics, University of Liverpool alumni, and practitioners from across the policy landscape.
This event will offer a critical exploration of the demands, pressures, and key considerations for public servants in an era of rapid transformation and widespread crisis, with insights from those working at the frontline of public policy in the United Kingdom.
The event will open with lunch, refreshments and networking at 1300, with the panel discussion running from 1340-1500.
About the MPAP:
Launching this September 2025, the University of Liverpool’s new master’s in Public Administration and Policy (MPAP) programme, is designed for students interested in careers in government and administrative services (both nationally and internationally), NGOs and third sector organisations, advocacy groups, journalism and academia. This programme will not only build the critical knowledge necessary to analyse and evaluate the contemporary challenges facing public administration and policy, but also the capabilities to formulate the strategies needed to address them effectively.
