Perfect reading spot

This is the space we introduce our perfect reading spots at Ness (and they’re not always in the gardens!).

Throughout 2026 we will share staff member’s favourite reading spot and a bit about the book they’re into.  We want to share our favourites, reading spots and books with you to build connections so each month we will post where our happy places are, what brings us joy, moments of calm, inspiration, expands our interests and knowledge, what makes us laugh or cry – hopefully you will share with us!

 

Picture this: you’re in the gardens, you have some time to yourself…you could get your book out, nature could enhance your experience. Where’s your favourite reading spot at Ness?  Tell us where and why, share what you are reading, plan to read this year…make time to find your perfect reading spot at Ness and ‘Go All In’!  Do you enhance your experience with a snack and a drink (you could get a takeaway from the café)?  Do you read alone or are you reading with others such as your children, a friend or your partner?
