2017 Photography Competition Winning entry

The winner of the Ness Botanical Gardens Photographic Competition has been announced.

We are delighted to announce the winner of the 2017 Ness Botanical Gardens Photographic Competition.

Luke Neale was chosen from over xxx entries with his photograph of Snowdrops.

All the winning & shortlisted entries are on display in the visitor centre at Ness Gardens until Sunday 29 April, pop in and see them.

2018 Ness Botanical Gardens Photographic Competition

The 2018 competition is now open and will run until Friday 21 December 2018

There are two free to enter categories for children: 11-16 years and 10 & under. Pictures must be taken at Ness, depicting something plant, garden or wildlife-related.

There are five categories for adults - Plants, Landscape, Wilder-Ness, Abstract (pictures taken at Ness) and a new category for 2018 - Outdoor Spaces (a picture taken in your back garden, local park or any favourite outdoor space). 

Photographers of all ages can also enter the Social Media category: just post your picture taken at Ness via our TwitterInstagram or Facebook accounts, using the hashtag#NBGphotocomp. The image can be related to the categories - Plants, Gardens, Wildlife and Abstract. A monthly winner will be selected and then be fed into the competition judging.

Entries can be submitted online or delivered to the Visitors Centre at Ness Gardens.
