Personal Statement

Maurice graduated form University College Dublin in 2016. He then spent 3 years in a mixed practice in Ireland before moving to Kent in the United Kingdom in 2019 where he joined Bell Equine Clinic as an ambulatory Veterinary Surgeon. In April 2021, Maurice moved to Hong Kong working with the Hong Kong Jockey Club as a Racing Veterinary Surgeon before returning to the UK to start his Residency in Equine Surgery in July 2022.
Maurice has completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and is working towards a designated Certificate in Equine Diagnostic Imaging as well as his ECVS Diploma in Equine Surgery.
In his spare time, Maurice enjoys playing sport, mainly Gaelic Football, Soccer as well as running and hiking.
