Course attendees are responsible for organising their own accommodation for the duration of the course. There are a number of hotel options available, all within easy walking distance to the School of Engineering. Recommended hotels include:

Travel information
Road
From the M62: at the end of the motorway continue straight ahead onto Edge Lane (A5080 then A5047) and follow signs for Liverpool City Centre and the University.
Rail
The Campus is just a ten-minute walk away from the nearest mainline station at Lime Street. Take the main exit and turn left into Lime Street. Then turn left again at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel and continue up Brownlow Hill towards the Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral and Red Brick Building with its clock tower.
Coach
The National Express coach station is in Liverpool One Bus Station, Canning Place, Liverpool, L1 8JX, an 18-minute walk from the Campus.
Air
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is eight miles from the city and is best reached by taxi or the express bus, directly outside the entrance to the airport terminal. You can also get buses 500, 86, 80A and 82A to Liverpool city centre. A train service runs between Manchester Airport and Liverpool Lime Street station. There is also a direct coach service which takes about 1 hour.
