Neurovirology
The Neurovirology working group aims to determine whether there are certain clades, variants or mutations are associated with neurological diseases of different clinical phenotypes; this includes looking for neurovirulent strains by comparing virus from the periphery and the central nervous system, as well as looking for variants associated with other neurological manifestations, e.g. encephalopathy.
