Governance

The study’s structure has been designed to ensure that the managing, coordinating, stakeholder engagement and impact of COVID-CNS are all subject to regular, robust scrutiny.

COVID 19 Clinical Neuroscience Study governance structure

The Steering Committee is chaired by Professor Patrick Chinnery (University of Cambridge) and Vice-Chair Professor Angela Vincent (University of Oxford). The Committee members include: Professor Cherie Armour (Queen’s University Belfast), Professor Dame Pamela Shaw (University of Sheffield), Professor John Bradley (University of Cambridge), Professor Sarah Pett (UCL) and Dr Ava Easton (Patient and Public Involvement Lead – Encephalitis Society).

The Study Management Group is represented by the working groups leads, and will report to and be guided by the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee will be responsible for reporting to the funders and study sponsor.
