How you'll learn
Modules are delivered through a blend of lectures, seminars and practical workshops, using a range of active learning approaches such as real-world case studies, live briefs, simulations and digital tools. You will engage with contemporary marketing issues, including branding, consumer behaviour, digital analytics and global marketing.
Lectures introduce key concepts and frameworks, while seminars provide opportunities to apply your knowledge through discussion, problem-solving and group activities. Some modules include practical sessions where you will work with data, develop marketing insights and apply analytical techniques.
Across the programme, there is a strong emphasis on applying theory to practice, developing both creative and analytical skills. You will also undertake independent and group study, making use of online resources, the virtual learning environment and the School’s library facilities.
How you're assessed
Assessment is designed to reflect real-world marketing practice and includes a mix of coursework and examinations, with the balance varying by module.
You may be assessed through a range of methods, including:
- Individual assignments and reports
- Group projects and presentations
- Marketing plans and strategy reports
- Data analysis and research-based coursework
- Digital or applied assessments (e.g. campaigns, portfolios).
This varied approach supports the development of both analytical and practical marketing skills.
