Using University of Liverpool systems
Once you have enrolled on some Continuing Education or Open Languages courses you will be asked to log in to various University of Liverpool systems.
As a University of Liverpool student, you have:
- A Student ID number (9 digits, starting ‘20’)
- A MWS username (which will look like: hstsmith or pstsmith) and will set a password online (Links to an external site.). You need this MWS username and password to login to your University email, Canvas and any PC on campus.
- A University of Liverpool email account
- Students have a dedicated portal – My Liverpool. From here you can find links to access your email and Canvas.
You need your MWS username to login to the student systems to support you with your learning. The table below shows the format you need to use for these systems. Follow the information here to activate your MWS: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/it/quickstart/activate-your-account/.
