Dr Lauren Walker completed her medical training at the University of Liverpool in 2007, with an additional intercalated honours degree in human anatomy and cell biology. She completed her junior medical training in the region. She undertook an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology & Neurology prior to a PhD during an MRC Clinical training fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology.
Her research interests include the pharmacological management of drug-refractory epilepsy and the management of complex multimorbidity and polypharmacy.
Educationally, she was the theme lead for therapeutics in the medical school from 2015 until 2018 prior to taking on her role as MBCHB Clinical Teacher.
