About
I received my first degree in Physics from Nanjing University and my PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of York. I held an EPSRC postdoctoral position in Materials Science and Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge, and was a visiting scholar in Physics at the University of Hong Kong. I subsequently joined Royal Holloway University of London, where I was appointed as a Lecturer and later promoted to Reader and then Professor in Nano-electronics. In 2023, I was appointed as the Head of Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics at the University of Liverpool. My research spans condensed matter physics, electronic materials and devices.
