Dr John Byrom
Associate Dean (MBA Programmes) John is Associate Dean (MBA) at the Management School, overseeing MBA programmes and other post-experience offerings. A Senior Lecturer in Marketing, he also teaches on the School's DBA degree. He has extensive experience in transnational education, contributing to programmes in India, China, Singapore, and the UAE. Before joining the University of Liverpool in 2019, he held roles at Manchester Business School and the University of Tasmania. His research focuses on retail marketing and consumer behaviour.
Dr Dane Anderton
Director of MBA Programmes/Director Studies (Liverpool MBA) Dane is Director of Studies for the Liverpool MBA and also oversees the full suite of MBA programmes. He earned his PhD from the University of Liverpool Management School in 2014, funded by the ESRC. His research focuses on place leadership and sustainable development, building on earlier work on industry development in the Liverpool City Region.
Chris Barlow
Director of Studies (Football Industries MBA) Chris is Director of Studies for the Football Industries MBA (FIMBA) and a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. He teaches Financial Reporting and professional skills, aiming to simplify content and apply it to real-world contexts like football. His research focuses on social mobility and access to undergraduate student placements.
