Personal Statement

I am a PDRA currently working on the “PTMeXchange” project, a large scale reanalysis of post-translational modification data. The project aims to develop new statistical methods for PTM localisation and create gold standard data sets for human and model organisms. I completed my PhD at the University of Liverpool in 2019. This work used informatics investigations to explore the involvement of Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA) with adverse drug reactions, in order to further the understanding of the associations and the mechanisms involved.
