About the event

Hana Sanadi is an Environmentalist from UK and Yemen. After spending 3 months in the middle of the Borneo Jungle at 17, Hana grew a strong love for nature, conservation, and helping those in need. Malaysia changed Hana’s life leading her to dedicate her time to climate change ever since;

Hana is one of the Global Shapers at the World Economic Forum, and working member of the UNfccc Youth Constituency. Along with many Liverpool community projects, Hana’s most recent international climate work extends from COP27 & COY17 in Egypt, representing the UK as a delegate and participating in The UN 77th General Assembly, New York. Her focus is on the SDGs, and recycling which led to creating ‘E-waste Consult’ and making Eco Bricks.

‘Tent Talks’ aims to inspire young academics to engage with climate action and learn about the different industries which are relevant to climate change. An opportunity for students to network and engage with well known, influential speakers working towards sustainability. Each conversation will end with a Q&A, see our
