Am I eligible for Transition Support?
Transition support is open to all students from widening participation backgrounds at the University of Liverpool.
Students who have previously engaged with the Outreach Team at the University of Liverpool are automatically enrolled for transition support, but if you meet any of the categories below, you can refer yourself to us for support:
- Have taken part in an outreach programme with the University of Liverpool prior to entry, including Liverpool Scholars, Realising Opportunities, Pathways to Law/Banking and Finance/Engineering or Disrupted Education
- Have taken part in a programme with an IntoUniversity Centre prior to entry
- Have received a contextual offer from the University of Liverpool
- Receive the Liverpool bursary
- Are from one of our priority groups, which include: care experienced students, Black students, estranged students, young adult carers, asylum seekers, refugees, students from military families, Gypsy/Roma/Traveller students or students from postcodes where historically low levels of people progress to University or there are high levels of deprivation.
If you are in one of these categories and would like support from us, please get in touch at liverpoolplus@liverpool.ac.uk. You'll need to include your name, student ID number and which criteria you are eligible under.
How can I refer a student for transition support?
If you are a staff member and have a student who you think would benefit from support from the Outreach Team, please contact us at liverpoolplus@liverpool.ac.uk to discuss.
